A Lockdown Love Story & A Lavish Wedding Of Founder Of Israni Photography – Megha Israni!

Megha Israni wedding

Brought together by the traditional means of exchanging profiles and setup for arranged marriage, this dynamic duo took forth their affection for each other as a love marriage. Megha Israni, founder of the infamous Israni Photography, witnessed the perfect culmination of lockdown love with her husband Yash Bhatia. Just 3 months after their first introduction to each other followed by lots of phone calls and chats and Megha visiting Yash in Bangalore, she was on the verge of rejecting the offer for marriage.

The 9th of October was a game changer for the couple, when Yash stayed up all night in Bangalore just to make sure Megha, who was partying with a few friends in Mumbai, felt he was around. Yash’s consistently caring and utmostly loving nature is what made Megha fall head over heels for him, never to look back.

Wedding Fiesta

Megha and Yash commenced the wedding festivities on 6th March with a cricket match at JVPD ground, their respective families and friends consisting of the two teams ‘Megha Ke Maharathi’ and ‘Yash Ke Yoddha’, bringing all the excitement and love to the field. Famous singer and Bigg Boss runner up Rahul Vaidya also played at this friendly match.

The couple also went on to host the entire team of Israni Photography for a brunch the next day, where Megha wore a Sonakshi Raj outfit. Day 2 continued with a Mata Ki Chowki ceremony, where the bride sported an outfit by Azuli, while her hair and makeup was done by Rebika and Mausam respectively. The celebrations continued at Megha’s home where she hosted a mehendi function, decked up in a quirky denim skirt and neon top by Azuli.

The pair had a fun-filled Haldi ceremony on 10th March at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where Megha adorned a Punit Balana ensemble. The families and attendees danced the night away at their sangeet, with the couple dressed in Azuli and NM Studio respectively. The following day is when they had the Pheras, bonding them eternally, where the bride put on a grand outfit from Abhinav Mishra’s couture, and Yash wore an outfit curated by Mohit Balani.

A lavish affair spread over five days at different venues, decorated and planned by a number of teams, Megha and Yash’s nuptials were one to remember, and we wish them a lifetime of fulfillment and happiness together!
