Match handcrafted by God and Wedding Perfected by Bride

They both are Punjabi’s one from North of Delhi the other from the South.  While she loves cooking, he loves eating.   While her philosophy is “Have it flaunt it”, he is someone who is extremely down to earth. Here are two  Dashing  Punjabi’s  Subah and  Siddharth  who  met through a common family  friend , in an arranged marriage  setup and now stand as  together as Husband and Wife .

Subah, the Wifey
The cute and bubbly  Punjabi  Kuddi  from South  Delhi ,  worked as an HR professional and an year later  started her own venture alongside  her younger brother ,  “Wood Cafe” in Shivalik.  She is basically on  cook, shop , sleep ,repeat mode

Siddharth, the Hubby
The Handsome Punjabi Munda from North Delhi, runs his own auto parts business in Delhi and Gurgaon . He has some big names, as clients in his kitty. He loves driving and is a die-hard foodie.

While one is a big foodie and other a great cook is what Siddharth believes made them connect well with each other.

“Siddharth is somebody who is extremely down to earth. Unlike me He doesn’t believe in the theory of “Have it flaunt it” He is super caring and very sensitive. He exactly knows how to woo me every time. He has never failed to surprise me with his efforts to make me feel special”

“Subah is exactly of what I dreamt my partner to be. She has been a blessing to me. It took me efforts to finally make her say yes but none the less all the efforts are proving to be worth it coz she’s one in million. I love her with all my heart”

Got engaged on   18th November 2016 at The Garden Dreams Mayapuri , the two   tied the  knot   on 19^th April 2017  at  TIVOLI Grand resort, GT Karnal road amidst friends and family.

Wedding Planning
Subah   took up the wedding planning on to herself and here is what she has to say regarding her experience planning her wedding.

“The wedding planning journey had been a roller coaster ride for me. Being somebody who needs to add a personal touch to everything I ended up planning the whole wedding myself. My family had been a great support to me of course and took care of all my needs. Every little detail from clothes to jewellery to foot wear to decor to giveaways to parties to food to drinks it was all planned by me and executed by my parents and brother. All the others of the family played a huge role (Chacha, bua’s. mami, jiju’s and all cousins) in making things right everywhere so like one big punjabi family we planned and executed this wedding”

It is Rightly said “Families that plays together stays together” and this wedding planning surely is an exciting play.

 

When you talk about Punjabi weddings they are full of customs, dance, fun and laughter. This one too had rituals with truck loads of fun, dance and laughter. Subah and Siddharth had all the  rituals of a Punjabi Wedding  starting the new  journey with Roka Ceremony, Ring ceremony, Guru Ji Satsang, Sundowner Mehendi, Haldi and Chudda  Ceremony   and the Wedding Ceremony.

Shagun & Sangeet Ceremony  

The shagun and the sangeet ceremony  gave an opportunity for the guests at both sides to mingle before the wedding and it indeed was a  fun night , with family members shaking their legs to the latest hits  and amazing performances by all. 
                                                  

Sun downer Mehndi

The mehndi  and  was a colorful affair  , with  the bride  herself adorning  beautiful lively lehenga with a mix of white golden , aqua blue , orange and  beautiful tassels with flower jewelry. Not to  forget , the Punjabi family too dazzled in their colorful outfits to up the glam quotient.  The sun downer mehndi  everything that a Punjabi  could ask for  the  DJ playing the Punjabi tunes , drinks and  good food. Punjabi  wedding with whole lot of fun.
