In the age where finding love on Tinder & local bars is quite a thing, our Delhi bride found her Mr Right in one that was found by her parents. Charming bride Mridul says “I don’t think I could have found a better man on my own.” Mridul & Rohit had an intimate Delhi wedding in the presence of their family & friends. What caught our attention was the bride’s sparkling ice blue lehenga that made her look like a Cinderella. Not only her sangeet outfit was mesmerizing but her lovely saree and Red lehenga are sooo gorgeous.
Meet Mridul & Rohit
“I got married to the first man whom I met for marriage. Most millennials in this day are turning to Tinder or Local bars in the hopes of finding the love of their life. But, I believed being set up for an official date by your parents still is the most exciting thing. ?”- says the bride.
“So, I’m a typical Delhite & he’s a basic NRI from Dubai. Our parents fixed our first official date (as we call it) on 10th dec’19 with the rest of the family members as surprise elements. Actually, I wasn’t planning for anyone so soon but then I had one glance at him & then things just happened. I’m a banter box but contrary to that moment I found myself loving to listen to all his unusual banter over a cup of Tea, bonded over our love for common food choices (brownie points!) & there we said YES! to each other after barely meeting for an hour. Guess destiny had its game.
Our parents have been childhood friends who got reignited with this new relationship. Two months of long-distance courtship, we got married in Delhi with close friends & family celebrating with us. And today I can confidently say-
He’s the Yin to my Yang.” – says the bride.

“We wanted a day time outdoor breezy & a floral ceremony which took in ‘Nandi Greens, Mehrauli, Delhi’
followed by indoor dances for the remaining evening. My Outfit was from ‘Frontier Raas’ & the groom’s
outfit was from ‘Study by Janak’. “- says the bride.
MEHENDI & COCKTAIL
“For our mehndi & other intimate family functions, we kept it as a homely affair. I flaunted my customized
‘Mrs. Rohit’ outfit contrary to the usual then later getting decked up in a pre-draped saree from Odhni
for cocktails.”- says the bride.
The Wedding Day
“Our big day was celebrated at ‘Orana-The Platum, Pitampura’. I always believed to not let your jewelry & outfit take the focus out from our face and it features so I wanted to keep it light yet very traditional & ethnic. So I went for a ‘Rajwada Bridal Look’.”- says the bride.
“I bought all my jewelry from ‘Valentine jewellery’ from Jaipur Jewelry show, The outfit was from ‘Anamika Khanna’ & my makeup was done ‘Pratishtha Arora’ as she does complete justice to colourful eyes. While the groom’s outfit was from ‘Study by Janak’.”- says the bride.
