Meet The Bride

“Professionally, I work on the Sexual and Reproductive health and rights of women and girls in India and the sub-continent region. Through my work, I have empowered thousands of girls in over 15 states of India, with an aim to make them aware of their bodily rights, therefore escaping heinous crimes like sexual violence, domestic violence and rape. My work allows me to work with the government, United Nations agencies, international organizations, grassroots organizations, and consulting firms.”- says the bride.

The Celebration

“I always wanted to be a minimalistic bride & have a personalized wedding. I always believed that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” As a meticulous person, she planned most details of her wedding. Some of the interesting highlights were:

A Meaningful Hashtag – #Dusya

Dushyant and Bhavya #Dusya is a word of Russian origin denoting “Tenderness” – celebrating a journey from tender beginning to a blessed and ceaseless future!

Something Borrowed

For her Mehandi outfit, she got her lehenga designed around her mother’s wedding lehenga and used her dupatta for the Mehendi outfit. Now, that’s a spectacular way of reusing your mother’s wedding dress on your wedding fiesta.

A Dream Of Being Sabyasachi Bride

And this is how she fulfilled her childhood dream of being a Sabyasachi bride.

“Resonating with many others, wearing a Sabyasachi creation was my childhood dream. Having grown with fashion influents around me, I always knew the creative depth of Sabyasachi’s work. After saving rigorously and following all collections closely, I flew from Delhi to Calcutta to buy my dream bridal lehenga. I needed it to be minimalistic and inspired by Rajasthani work/motives. With the help of a humbly helpful team, I was able to decide my lehenga in a day. And not only this I also decided to buy my reception saree, one of the best Banarasi weaves I have ever come across- it was truly loved at first sight. – A very happy Sabyasachi (minimalistic) bride.

Some Glimpses Of Wedding Reception Look

Marking an impression with her magnificent bridal looks in Sabyasachi lehenga, the bride left us awestruck with her simple & elegant wedding reception looks in lovely saree by Sabyasachi again. Above all, we totally loved both looks donned by our Sabyasachi bride.

Novel and Fresh Jewelry

“Often markets are flooded with replications. I wanted to buy my jewelry with no duplication. Surana Jewelers, Jaipur makes no one piece twice and is known for novel designs. As a Rajasthani myself, I found no better alternative for my bridal jewelry. “- says the bride.

Cosmopolitan Gathering

After completing both her masters abroad, she had friends visiting her from many countries. They all wore their traditional outfits (that they would wear at weddings in their respective countries)for the wedding. The countries included- France, Philippines, Austria, Mexico, USA, South Korea, and Honduras.
