2021 kicked off with celebrity weddings being intimate, off course COVID pandemic is the biggest reason for intimate and less extravagant celeb weddings.  While we do think coronavirus has  a role to play in intimate weddings, but personal choice and preferences have also been a contributing  factor.  Here’s a list of Bollywood celebrities, Telly Stars and Sports personalities who got married  in 2021.

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal

2021 wedding season kicked off with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan wedding. Varun Dhawan married childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal on 24, January 2021. Keeping COVID-19 protocols in mind, Varun and Natasha reportedly had a limited guest list of 40-50 names for their private ceremony in Alibaug. Pictures from their  intimate wedding  left the fans  drooling over their cute chemistry.

Vijay Shankar and  Vaishali Visweswaran

India’s  all-rounder  cricketer Vijay Shankar married Vaishali Visweswaran  in January  2021 in an traditional wedding ceremony . The wedding ceremony took  place amidst all precautionary COVID -19 measures.  Vijay Shankar plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL . The official page of Sunrisers Hyderabad took to Twitter to wish their star player for one of the greatest innings of his life.

Jaydev Unadkat, IPL Franchise Rajasthan Royals fast-bowler tied the knot with Rinny Kataria in a traditional wedding ceremony in presence of family and friends on  2 -February -2021. The cricketer took to social media to announce his wedding and the wishes poured in from the cricket fraternity.

Actress Dia Mirza tied the knot with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in a close knit wedding ceremony with only family and friends in attendance on 15 February 2021. Dia Mirza  & Vaibhav wedding was a zero plastic waste sustainable wedding. The wedding was solemnized by a female priest and  it did not have rituals like kanyadan and Bidaii.

Indian Cricket Team’s  fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah married Sports Presenter Sanjana Ganesan on 15-March -2021.
