Gym Ne Mila Di Jodi! From a squat to tying the knot, ‘soulmates’, Kareen Parwani and Sahil Bhoolabhai’s close-knit wedding amidst the cheeky smiles of their favourite people at Badrinath Building in Mumbai was an intimate affair filled with love, laughter and ebullient emotions.
About the couple
Good things come to those who ‘weight’ and Kareen and Sahil’s love story is a flawless testament to the saying, ‘when it’s written in the stars, there’s nothing that can keep two hearts apart.’ Strangers to now lovebirds, the two of them first met at a gym in 2014. Destined to be together, their journey as a couple ‘worked out’ after Sahil, a gym addict and a coach complimented Kareen for being the cutest girl in the gym. That was it for them to break the ice and kindle their adorable relationship. Fun fact – the cutesy couple also share the same birth date. Now how can one not say that it was meant to be?!
29th January 2022 marked a beautiful union of the Sabyasachi bride, Kareen Parwani with her then-boyfriend and now husband, Sahil Bhoolabhai. A fashion stylist by profession, Kareen knew exactly what she wanted for their wedding right from outfits, and decor to photography and made sure to make it a reality along with Sahil’s input. Surrounded by big smiles, happy hearts and good vibes, the gorgeous couple tied the knot under an ecstatic shower of red and pink rose petals and heart-warming blessings. In a pretty outdoor setting and the presence of their favourite people, Kareen and Sahil’s mood board came to life on their D-Day.
Speaking about the wedding, co-founder of WhatKnot, Aditya expresses, “Kareen had called me a few months before her big day explaining her vision for their entire wedding. Her brief was no banquet halls and plush hotel rooms, just a simple outdoorsy affair in the vicinity of their favourite people. She asked me if I could pull it off and I promised her the same.”
With happy tears, loving caresses and quirky faces, the WhatKnot team captured the ‘gym-tastic’ couple’s ‘pink-tastic’ wedding in style and their exuberant candid shots are proof of the couple’s happiness.
Intimate weddings are cosy and so filled with love that they create lasting memories for everyone who has witnessed the love blossom—wishing the couple a very happy ever after.
