It’s said true love triumphs over everything. Aayushi and Sourav’s love story is one such story.
Aayushi and Sourv met in law school. Right from the start, Ayushi knew Sorav was the one for her. But, they both belonged to different castes, & it was not a cakewalk to get families on board. It took Aayushi & Sorav good 2 years to convince the families, and their love finally won the families.

Destination Wedding Planning

We wanted an intimate wedding and there is no perfect place as Corbett to host an intimate affair, hence Aahana, Jim Corbett was decided as the wedding destination. It took 6-7 months time for my sister Aayushi to plan the perfect destination wedding of her dreams.

The Theme of the Wedding

My sister, Aayushi wanted to go for something different from the usual traditional wedding hues and after much thought, we zeroed in on Ivory.

Coordinating outfits with the bride

All the ceremonies were simple and subtle from engagement to the wedding. I and my mother co-ordinated all our outfits with the bride. It was difficult to find coordinated outfits so we had to customize a lot of things. For Mehendi – we chose pastel colours. For Engagement – shades of wine and for the wedding – Ivory.

The most fun part of your sister’s wedding day

Every second of my sister’s wedding was so much fun, as well as emotional that picking one would be really difficult.

One quick tip that you would like to give to other bridesmaids-to-be?

I would highly suggest them to wear something which is comfortable since you have to do a hell lot of work. Always, be around the bride because that is the most important role as a bridesmaid.
Also, keep on smiling 🙂
