Real Wedding Story of Pranjali & Ayush

“Matches are made in heaven” is what we all grow up listening to. But this tale has its own charm. Plotted by the god itself, it looks more like some 90’s movie’s script. Two childhood friends who played the craziest of those childhood games grew up to find love in each other. Connected by family, the usual meets gave them wonderful childhood memories to cherish forever. Growing up to take different courses in life, they were in touch always. Who knew the childhood buddies would knit their life with a common string.

They decided to make it official and got engaged on 23rd September 2017.

The courtship period was very difficult as Ayush was doing MBA from IIM LUCKNOW and Pranjali was working with Amazon, their hectic schedule at both ends kept on increasing the distance even more. Both of them somehow managed this 3 years and 7 months of long distance relationship (before marriage) which kept on getting more difficult for both. Ayush was giving his final exams in February when Pranjali was busy in wedding preparations where she missed Ayush’s presence somehow. He gave his last exam on 25th Feb which was just 3 days before the sangeet.

How they actually met will let you Awww!

“We both met when we were very young, he was three and I was two. We even have a picture in which I am sitting behind him on his bicycle on his 3rd birthday. And, we recreated that picture on our Pre-wedding photoshoot as well.”- says the bride.

The day started with Ganesh Poojan and Mandap Poojan in both sides followed by “Godbhari” of Bride by Groom’s family in which they offered her gifts and sweets. There was Tilak ceremony where the bride’s side offered gifts to the Groom and his family. There was spectacular sangeet night with great singing and dance performances followed up by Haldi & Wedding.

A Gleeful Haldi Ceremony

Family and friends of brides were all dressed in yellow color & took amazing pictures in the garden. It was a long session of Boomerangs, slow-motion videos, and Instagram updates. There were happy faces all around but happiest of them was the bride who was wearing a yellow sharara which she designed herself along with floral jewelry.

Rocking Sangeet Night

The groom side comprised of many singers and the bride side had good dancers, so the sangeet ceremony was an amalgamation of dance & music. Bride’s maasi dedicated an emotional dance performance to her, followed by a singing performance of Groom along with his mother & sister. Bride’s cousins and friends gave dance performances on “Galla Goodiyaan” and other latest songs. But the best performance was of Bride & Groom singing together.  The bride gave an exceptional dance performance on ” Kitthe reh gaya.. by Neeti Mohan” dedicated to her Groom. It was a fun-filled event which everyone will cherish forever.

Some Magical Moments From Wedding

“Every moment from our courtship period has its charm. There were happy and sad phases. I believe we grew up in this relationship of 3 years and seven months. We both are more mature persons, and we understand each other in a better way.  He was working with an oil & gas firm a few years back, and I was working with Amazon. I used to feel sad, looking at the couples in my office. I always used to imagine Ayush & myself working in the same office. But I knew that it was impossible as we both were from different backgrounds. But God had a different plan, and Ayush cracked his CAT exam and got selected for IIM Lucknow.  He appeared for his summer placements in his college after he joined there. And something astonishing happened ” He got selected in Amazon as a summer intern.”  We both were in the same city working with Amazon. I can relate this incident to a very famous dialogue from the movie Om Shanti OmKisi cheez ko bohot shiddat se chaaho to poori Kaynaat tumhe usey milane me lag jati hai.

There are so many other moments that I will always cherish and the best moments from our wedding include the impromptu singing performance of Ayush & I. Ayush was busy in final exams till four days before the wedding. I was disappointed that we won’t be able to perform on our Sangeet.  During our sangeet, he held my hand and asked me to come on stage and sing with him. I was clueless, and since he is a great singer, I was more nervous. But we sang the song “Hey Shona” so beautifully that everyone was amazed.” – says the bride.

Wedding Vendor Reviews From The Bride

Venue: Vrindavan Garden, Bhopal

One of the best places in Bhopal to have that royal feel of the wedding in a Rajasthani style décor. The food was “ finger licking good” as everyone praised the quality and variety of food.

Makeup Artist: Rose Salon

This beauty parlor is considered best for bridal makeup, and they did the job very well. The makeup looked perfect in both the sangeet and wedding and I was fully satisfied.

Photographer & Videographer: The Wedding Waale

They are Bhopal based photographers I found on the internet. It is a team of 6-7 photographers who came well dressed with ID cards and badges of TWW to shoot the wedding. I booked them seven months before my wedding. We shot for our pre-wedding in January. They are a super cool bunch of people who love photography. They have a zeal to try out new things and will make you feel very comfortable while shooting for couple portraits and pre-wedding pictures /Videos. We were very impressed by the pre-wedding pictures initially, and everyone in our family was waiting for the wedding pictures. The wedding pictures were even better. I loved the candid shots, and I can say that  I have a massive collection of my future display pictures for my social media pages.
