Wedding Functions

“I have a keen sense of fashion and décor so I made sure every event had a different theme and flavor. I feel the wedding was a big success in Lucknow because of the team effort. My family members have been very supportive.

My mom Mrs. Meeta Srivastava took care of all the rituals at home while my partner in fashion styling at this wedding has been my sister Arushi Srivastava. We both planned all our dresses and color combination and styles while my father Mr. Avinash Kumar Srivastav (An Executive Engineer) himself took care of all the details and décor. While my Mama Mr. Naval Kant Sinha who is a senior journalist in Lucknow took care of the invitations for politicians n VVIP guests. We wanted the entire wedding to look, Royal, so we planned each and every event very minutely.” says the bride.

ENGAGEMENT

“Being from the city of Nawabs I wanted to showcase the rich culture of my city. I choose a lime-colored zardozi work Anarkali for the function, with an additional veil to complete my Begum look. The dress was from CALCUTTAINSTYLE, a designer showroom in Lucknow. . While for Akash, we went for a white Bandhgala from Bhasin Brothers Lucknow, famous wedding couture. It was a day function, and the look completely did justice as the pictures came out fabulous.

Wedding- D Day

“My look was inspired by the Jodha princess of Jodha Akbar. I chose a velvet dark maroon lehenga to give a princess vibe. It was intricately embroidered with zari work and the dupatta was specially designed, taking inspiration from Deepika Padukone look from her wedding day. I kept my makeup subtle with nude lips and bold cateye. A Big shoutout to Laveena for giving me the exact look I wanted. and Abhishek and his team for making my wedding look so regal and extravagant.”- says the bride.
