The Courtship

#Rahushi relationship is 14 years long. They met each other when they were in 9th Standard, the age of puppy love and the beginning of cute love stories.  Since then from school mates to lovers & eventually being life partners Rahul & Arushi has been together through thick and thin and braced it all happily.

The Celebration

Arushi idea of the wedding had always been about big Happy Indian families &  their Doggos dancing, partying and enjoying every bit of it. So the whole wedding was planned around the idea.

The Decor

The sangeet is a reminder of what joint families in India celebrate like; a massive space being converted to a massive living room taking us back to the feeling of being at your naanu home. The smell of naani ka khana and jokes being the highlight of the night.

Haldi had an amphitheatre kind of setup with pink gaddas and mixed colours hangings. This was in an outdoor space where our colours could pop the best.

The wedding day is a big fat Indian wedding celebration with 600 people enjoying together.

The night revolves around dark shades of pinks, with the highlight being the dogs! Centrepieces, napkin holders, and drapes, everything had elements of  Oreo, Effy, Hatchi, Zara and Clio spread across the wedding!

Pheras were traditional Taaro ki chaaon setup. Converting an open ground space into  mandap, gaddas and blankets with kahwa being passed on in the cold winter nights of January.

Plan with Nonya has done a fabulous job keeping in mind the Arushi & Rahul’s preferences in mind and curating even the minutest of details to perfection
