“Wedding planning journey was a rollercoaster ride. It was all set & decided till 8 days before the wedding we came to know that due to rise in covid cases only 50 people are allowed in wedding. I was devastated & blank of what to do next. But then it all happened smoothly with less no of people. I was very particular about the stuff that I wanted at my wedding from the bridal entry to the return favors to the bridal entry song everything was preplanned for so many years. So you can say that we both planned our whole wedding.”- says the bride.

Haldi & Holi Party
“So it was a two culture wedding (Punjabi & Bengali) starting with a holi/haldi party which was a very easy breezy function. I wanted to do this for my wedding for so long. So we kept a dress code of white kurtas with leheriya dupattas for ladies & white kurtas for men. I wore a very simple yet pretty suit from Accho. It was a fun-filled function with loads of music & bhang. Also, we kept plants as return favours for holi haldi party because I always wanted to gift one for my wedding.”- says the bride.
Mehendi
The couple had an intimate Mehendi function with close family & friends. Purti & Nishant opted for dark green colored outfits for Mehendi and perfectly set the color-coordination goals.
Ghadoli Ceremony
The next day was the Ghadoli ceremony in which the couple gifted shell bangles & Mangtikka from krafterina as favours.
Bengali Wedding
Then there was a sundowner Bengali wedding in which the bride wore a beautiful red colored lehenga designed by Seema Gujral. Her Bengali bridal look in red lehenga is pure bliss. While the groom looked royal in golden embroidered dhoti-style sherwani and the duo easily stole our hearts with their outstanding wedding look.
“We gifted candles from Ikea as wedding favours for guests for the sake of my never-ending love for candles. I always wanted to gift candles & plants at my wedding.”- says the bride.
Reception
After the Bengali wedding, the couple had a reception in which Purti wore a midnight blue gown which was custom-made by Smriti Couture Boutique (Nagpur). She looked absolutely gorgeous in this stunning blue gown while the groom looked dapper in a blue suit and set the outfit goals by color-coordinating with the bride’s outfit.
“Thanks to Ishan Sahani he converted my dream gown into reality & created something which was exactly on my mind.” – says the bride.
Anand Karaj
The very next day was Anand Karaj in which Purti wore a Bhumika Grover outfit and donned the prettiest baby pink Anarkali. While groom opted grey a colored long Bandhgala jacket paired with white trousers. ” These 3 days were the best days of my life as we made lifetime memories in these 3 days to cherish for a lifetime.”- says the bride.
