How we met:
“We both met through our grandparents, they being close friends. I was very shy with him but he made me go so comfortable with him in our second meeting and I had no chance to say no!! Though we lived very nearby but never happened to meet each other.”- says the bride.
Wedding Festivities
“It was all soo sudden and quick due to the Covid scenario. Our guest list was finalized hardly 15 days before the wedding. Even the venue was decided 10days prior to the function.
A few of my outfits were designed by me since long back for my big day. I was always excited about my wedding and wanted my makeup to have a different look for each function. So I chose my massi to be by a makeup artist and she made me look perfect as I wanted for all my occasions. The decor was all designed by Smarth with an event planner it was all his idea’s to have our wedding functions look amazing.”- says the bride

“We kept the Punjabi theme for the Mehndi ceremony. My mehndi design was a wedding scene describing a bride under the flowers on one hand. And the other hand describing the groom on his horse. On the palms it was Jai Mala with groom and bride and in between, there were dhol Shenai. “- says the bride.

“I had not tried any of my makeup looks before but had all my faith in my massi and she made me look great on all my occasions. The best look had to be my wedding day, with everything being perfect for the day be it my dress, my jewels which were designed by my mother.”- says the bride.
Fun Moments From Wedding Events
“Haldi ceremony of both bride and groom. Both were totally painted yellow by their friends and cousins. And the groom’s kurta was torn apart. At our wedding it was all so quick we had early jaimala and pheras. And after all the ceremonies Smarth told me to sit and relax till that he’ll go for a round in pandal ( I had never seen before that the boy goes for a round)?”- says the bride.
Advice For Other Brides-To-Be
“Relax and sleep! “Enjoy the roses and breathe them in and enjoy the moment that you live.” – Something I read in my childhood days and still remember and it fitted so well at that time. Take complete rest before your functions start, later it gets soo quick and you don’t get any time to rest.
Above all, don’t worry about how you will look on your big day. Don’t let that faze you. Never try your wedding day look with your outfit, jewels, and makeup before the wedding otherwise you won’t get the same charm on your big day.”- says the bride.
